Scandinavia has always been effortlessly cool, turning out generations of handsome, sporty, healthy people living their best lives – sailing in the summer, skiing in the winter, and hiking in between. But now that the world has turned its attention towards sustainable living, it feels like the zeitgeist has truly shone its light on Norway and Sweden.
No surprise, then, that we went to Norway on an electric-car road trip a couple of months ago, and have just returned from a mini break in Sweden with another plug-in car: the Kia EV6 GT. It feels right to embark on zero-emissions road trips where the air is clean, the sustainable ethos is baked in to the mountains, lodges and lakes, and the public charging points are plentiful.
